The roots of the 369 Manifestation Method

Believe it or not, the great mind of inventor Nikola Tesla influenced this popular manifestation technique. Through his extensive mathematical work, particularly investigating circles (don’t worry, I won’t bore you with the details), he realised that everything seems to come back as either three, six, or nine.

He, therefore, concluded that these three numbers must be highly relevant to life itself, believing they hold the “key to the universe.”

Three is the direct link to the universe.

Six is the strength we each hold within ourselves.

Nine helps us to let go of negativity and the past.

Following Tesla’s declarations surrounding these numbers, Karin Yee, a prominent Law of Attraction guru, created the 369 Manifestation Method.

What makes the 369 Manifestation Method unique?

Manifestation has been a staple in the spiritual diets of many for a long time now. It’s nothing new. But the problem with most manifesting tips is that they are open to interpretation and, for the manifestation novice, provide little scaffolding for the process.

The 369 Manifestation Method went viral because of how easy it is to use. The process is outlined in detail, and you know what you need to do and when to ensure that you attract your desires. No more worrying whether you’re doing it right or not!

How to use the 369 Manifestation Method

Before we go into the detailed steps you will be taking on this journey, let’s quickly overview what this technique will entail.

Every day you will do the following:

-   Write your affirmation three times in the morning

-   Write your affirmation six times in the middle of the day

-   Write your affirmation nine times before bed

You will repeat this every day for 33 days. Why 33, you might ask? Well, simply put, 3 + 3 = 6 and 3 x 3 = 9. Remember, everything in this technique revolves around the three principle numbers!

The last important point to note is that you should not dwell on your affirmations throughout the day. As manifestation gurus often point out, the universe can sense desperation. So if you obsess over your affirmations, you won’t be putting out the right energy to attract what you want.

With that said, let’s break down exactly how you will use this method. 

  1. Choose your affirmation

It’s a bit of an obvious first step, but you can’t manifest something if you don’t know what you want! 

Likely you have several possibilities flying around your head right now. So your first job is to pick the most important one to you right now.

Manifestation works best when you are as specific as possible. That means if you want to manifest money, choose a specific amount, or if you want to manifest your dream job, be clear of what that looks like to you.

You also want to make sure what you choose is attainable. For example, if you are unemployed with £2 in your account currently, manifesting £1million is probably a stretch too far at this stage, but £1000 is more than doable. 

Once you have chosen what you want, we move on to step two.

  1. Write your affirmation down 

Journal time! Your journal will be the epicentre of all things manifestation for the next 33 days, and as such, it’s essential to start the groundwork right now.

Most experts of the 369 Manifestation Method agree that you should implement Abraham Hicks’ 17-second affirmation principle. That is, your affirmation should take around 17 seconds to write down (roughly two sentences long).

Focus on the emotions and gratitude it will bring to your life. If you’re struggling to create your own affirmation, use the following template as a guide:

I am thankful to have (insert what you want to manifest). With it brings (emotion 1), (emotion 2), and (emotion 3) into my life.

Again, remember to be specific about what you want to manifest.

Pro tip: While it doesn’t matter what journal you use during your manifesting journey, having a journal you love to reach for every day will fill you with extra positivity that will help you along the way.

  1. Morning practice

Ok, time to get manifesting now. The first part of your manifesting day will see you copying your affirmation three times in your journal. It’s crucial to allow the emotions and belief in your affirmation to really wash over you. This will set the tone for your day.

Once you’ve finished your first set of affirmations, throw them out of your head, leaving nothing but the feeling in your body behind.

  1. Midday practice

For your second manifestation practice of the day, find a quiet period in the middle of the day to take your journal out and copy your affirmations. This time you will copy it six times. Why? Because you are strengthening your affirmation that you started that morning. 

Most people find that lunchtime is a good opportunity to do their affirmation work. 

  1. Bedtime practice

Finally comes the closing of our daily affirmation circle. Right before bed, you need to copy your affirmations a further nine times. In doing so, you are letting go of any negativity from the day and replacing it with the joy of your manifestation. 

Doing this right before bed puts you in a lovely, calm mindset for a good night’s sleep and allows the energy of manifestation to evolve through the night.

This manifestation method works because it’s simple to follow. But if you worry too much about doing it right, it will go horribly wrong.
