Frequently asked questions about stress relief
What are stress relief cards
When should I use stress relief cards
You should use this card deck whenever you feel triggered by a stressful event or situation. However, you don't need to wait for a stressful moment to occur to use these. Picking a card at random in the morning is a great way to start your day, allowing you to better tackle any obstacles in your path.
How should I use stress relief cards
Using the same exercise continuously can remove its impact on how you deal with stress. We would recommend selecting a card at random, and practising a different stress relief technique each time. However, if you do feel one particular exercise works best for you then do continue to use this.
Can I use stress relief cards with a friend or partner
While it is beneficial to take sometime to yourself to reflect and meditate, it is also very impactful to go through these stress relieving exercises as a pair or in a group. Working through stressful situations with others is useful to see how others deal with stress triggers.
Should I only use stress relief cards
We recommend using stress relief cards as a simple and practical tool, but certainly don't intend for it to be the single solution. Others activities that can help prevent stress could be journaling, exercise, meditation, breathing techniques, proper nutrition, and time with loved ones.

When we experience too much stress, burnout can often occur.
While it can be seen as a negative, it can also be sued to motivate us to complete tasks. However, the benefits normally occur when proper stress management is used.
What are the signs of stress
Stress comes in many forms and can effect others in different ways. Some key emotional signs of stress can be depression, anxiety, irritability, low sex drive, concentration problems, mood swings, and compulsive behaviour.
