Manifesting Your Dream Job With 5 Manifestation Examples

Everyone has that dream job they’ve always wished for. Perhaps you already have it now, but perhaps it still feels like a distant dream that will never actually materialise. Why is it that some people manage to land their dream job, while others don't?

Part of the reason could be that those who have their dream job have brought it into their lives through manifestation and the use of the law of attraction. The good news is that these techniques are available for all to use and benefit from.

In this article, we’ll cover what the law of attraction is and how you can use it to manifest the job of your dreams. We’ll also give some powerful examples of how to use manifestation when it comes to attracting the right career.

Manifesting Your Dream Job With 5 Manifestation Examples

What is Manifestation

Put simply, manifestation is the exercise of attraction. It works on the basis that what you visualise, believe, and action, you will attract into your life. The theory of manifestation is that you attract into your life whatever you think about and speak about.

One of the most important aspects of manifestation is to be clear on what exactly you want to attract into your life. When it comes to manifesting, the more clear and concise you are the better. Instead of saying “I want my dream job”, think deeper and be more specific and think about the details: what that job might entail, where would you be working from, what would your salary be, what would your team be like, what tasks would you be working on.

One you’ve created a clear picture of what it is you want, put intention behind it. We can set your intention in a number of ways. Popular forms of this might be writing it down in a journal, visualization, speaking aloud and repeating your intentions, a vision board of everything related to what you want, or meditation.

The Power of Action

Manifestation is a powerful tool for creating clarity on what you want to happen. However, action is key. We can’t hope that opportunity falls into our lap, but instead we must go out and seize the day!

Once you know the type of job you want and all of the different aspects of it, it’s time to think about the steps that you might need to take to get there. Do you need to reach out to a number of your contacts, or start searching online job adverts?

Steps to Manifesting Your dream Job

  1. Step 1 - Be specific

As mentioned above, being clear on what you want to achieve is the first step. Be clear on the different things that would make up your dream job. Think about why you want this dream job and what it means to you, your life, your family, your friends. Does this job allow you to help others? Does it allow you to be creative? Does it offer you more freedom and time?
  2. Step 2 - Visualise

Next step once you are clear on what you want is to visualise yourself working in your dream job. Try to visualise where you might be working from, what you would be wearing, the people you would be working with, the sounds of where you work.
  3. Step 3 - Realise your limiting beliefs

We can create internal contradictions and self sabotage by listening to our own limiting beliefs. You may try to vislause your dream job, but at the back of your mind you still think that you would never be good enough or qualified enough for this role. Recognising these negative beliefs is an important step, as you will need to combat this by giving yourself a new belief. Instead of thinking ‘I’m not qualified for this job’, think ‘This role is perfect for qualifications, and I will be continuously learning while I work to make me even more qualified for the role’.
  4. Step 4 - Use affirmations

Affirmations are a powerful tool. They are simple self affirming short messages, that when repeated have a positive effect on our self belief. Examples of powerful affirmations might be ‘I am a magnet to opportunity’, ‘I am a strong and powerful person’, ‘I am successful at anything I put my mind to’. Use affirmations before visualising to help shift into a positive mindset. See our Affirmation Card Deck which has 52 different affirmations that can be chosen at random.
  5. Step 5 - Gratitude

Be grateful for your new dream job in advance. Think and speak about why you are grateful for this new job. Think about all of the reasons to be grateful.
